The OCEANS Network is pleased to announce that the selection process for the Erasmus+ Students and Alumni Alliance (ESAA) Annual Meeting and Training has been successfully completed. The event will take place in Brussels, Belgium, on 3 and 4 February 2025. This highly anticipated event, themed “Building Bridges: Enhancing Erasmus+ Alumni Engagement,” will bring together alumni from across Europe and the world to exchange ideas, strengthen collaborations, and shape the future of Erasmus+ alumni initiatives.

The application process for this year’s event was incredibly competitive, with 55 applications received for only 7 spots. After careful consideration, we have selected the participants. We ensured that gender balance and regional representation were respected in the selection process. Please note that only the selected participants have been notified via e-mail.

This year’s meeting will feature engaging workshops, strategic discussions, and networking opportunities with representatives from sister organisations, including the Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA), garagErasmus (gE), Erasmus Student Network (ESN), African Student and Alumni Forum (ASAF), and Western Balkans Alumni Association (WBAA). Participants will also contribute to shaping the strategic direction of Erasmus+ alumni activities, fostering inclusivity, and expanding collaboration across regions and with EU institutions.

We extend our gratitude to everyone who applied and demonstrated their commitment to the Erasmus+ mission. To those who were not selected, we encourage you to stay engaged with OCEANS Network and look out for future opportunities to contribute to our shared goals.

Stay tuned for updates and insights from the event in February! Together, we continue to build bridges for a stronger Erasmus+ alumni community.
