Call for Participation: ESAA Annual Meeting and Training in Brussels, Belgium
OCEANS Network members can apply until 18 December 2024 to participate in the Erasmus+ Students and Alumni Alliance (ESAA) Annual Meeting and Training taking place in Brussels, Belgium, on 3 and 4 February 2025.
The OCEANS Network is delighted to invite 7 of its members to take part in the Erasmus+ Students and Alumni Alliance (ESAA) Annual Meeting and Training in Brussels, Belgium, on 3 and 4 February 2025. This dynamic event, themed “Building Bridges: Enhancing Erasmus+ Alumni Engagement,” is a unique opportunity to collaborate, share best practices, and contribute to the future of Erasmus+ Alumni activities.
Members of other sister organisations will also join this event, totalling 30 participants. This includes 7 members each from Erasmus Mundus Association (EMA), garagErasmus (gE), and Erasmus Student Network (ESN), along with 1 member each from the African Student and Alumni Forum (ASAF) and the Western Balkans Alumni Association (WBAA).
Key Themes of the Meeting:
- Expanding participation and inclusiveness of Erasmus+ to underrepresented groups.
- Empowering alumni as active global citizens to give back to their communities.
- Strengthening visibility, connections, and collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Discussing the future strategies for Erasmus+ alumni engagement.
ESAA Training:
The topic of the ESAA Training, scheduled for 4 February 2025, is yet to be decided. It will be determined based on the results of the ESAA survey conducted earlier this year. There will be an update you as soon as the training topic is defined.
Event Highlights:
- Plenary sessions, panel discussions, and workshops.
- Networking with ESAA member organisations and external stakeholders.
- Strategic discussions on enhancing alumni networks and participation.
Eligibility:
- Must be a member of OCEANS Network.
- Passionate about Erasmus+ alumni engagement and collaboration.
- Available to attend the ESAA Annual Meeting on 3 February and ESAA Training on 4 February 2025.
Selected participants will represent OCEANS Network and contribute to the discussions, workshops, and strategic consultations during the meeting. All costs related to travel, accommodation, food, and visa will be covered by the European Commission.
