Applications open: Communication Ambassadors group - 2025/26

Applications to join the Communication Ambassadors group are open! All existing and new OCEANS members who want to get involved and connect with other OCEANS colleagues are welcome. Make sure you apply by 20 April 2025 to contribute to our impactful communications and shape the future of education!

The Communication Ambassadors Group is formed by OCEANS members whose main objective is to collaborate with the communications department in its various functions. This group will be responsible for creating and sharing newsletters, launches, courses, announcements, actions and other items that are created and disseminated throughout our network, as well as on partner networks. This role supports communication outreach, making communication much more effective.

Members should also attend the monthly communications team meeting, where they can share their experiences, challenges and future ideas for the department.

Who should apply?

We invite all active members of the OCEANS Network who are passionate about communication, social media and want to be more active in their departments to apply.

Additionally, we invite new OCEANS members who want to get involved and connect with other OCEANS colleagues. This is an excellent opportunity to effectively participate in the communications department, network with colleagues and play a key role in the OCEANS Network.

Feel free to share this with your network and your contacts who might be interested, making sure you tag OCEANS and include the appropriate hashtag.

Application details:

  • Application period: from 10 April to 20 April 2025
  • Notification of acceptance: 30 April, 2025
  • Application form: available on the OCEANS online community portal

N.B.: We encourage you to come up with your own personal answers, rather than relying on AI, so that the OCEANS Board can really learn about you and your motivations.
