What happened?
A new chapter for OCEANS: Welcoming the recently voted leadership
The OCEANS Network recently concluded elections for the leadership of its Communication, International Affairs, Internal Affairs, and Community Development departments. This event marked the establishment of a new Board for the 2025-2026 term, with the goal of strengthening the Network and promoting its values and mission.
Dear OCEANS family,
With the end of the elections for the Heads of Communication, International Affairs, Internal Affairs and Community Development departments, it is time to reflect, extend our gratitude and celebrate this new stage.
First and foremost, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing leaders, Ilhem Bendahmane, Mohammed Ashqar, and Carlos Lino, for their exceptional contributions. Your dedication has left an inspiring legacy, and you will always remain an integral part of the OCEANS family.
We also extend our appreciation to all the candidates who took part in this election. Your commitment to our community is commendable and motivates us to strive for greater heights. Thank you for your engagement and dedication.
A special thanks goes to the members who participated in this election process with seriousness and dedication. Your careful evaluation and voting have been crucial in choosing the best leaders for our community, and you are a core part of everything we have built together.
